Ikhambo Getaway Planners is a South African-based travel agency specialising in curated holiday packages to destinations across Africa, the Indian Ocean Islands, Asia, and the Middle East. We handle all aspects of travel planning so you can focus on making memories.
We are based in South Africa and serve clients nationwide. Our team can plan trips to over 50 destinations worldwide.

Bookings & Payments
You can book a trip by contacting us directly via phone, email, or our online contact form. Our travel consultants will guide you through the booking process, help you choose the perfect package, and handle all the arrangements.
We accept EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), bank deposits, and selected card payments. Full payment details will be provided upon booking confirmation.
Yes, a non-refundable deposit is typically required to secure your booking. The deposit amount varies depending on the package and destination. The remaining balance is due before your departure date.
Yes, all prices displayed on our website are per person sharing unless otherwise stated. Single supplement charges may apply for solo travellers.
Membership
We offer three membership tiers: Standard (R400/pm), Premium (R600/pm), and VIP (R800/pm). Each tier comes with increasing levels of travel benefits, discounts, and personalised service.
Yes, you can upgrade your membership at any time. The new rate will take effect from the following billing cycle. Contact us to arrange an upgrade.
You can cancel your membership with 30 days written notice. Please email info.ikhambo@gmail.com with your cancellation request.
Travel & Destinations
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and destination. We can advise on visa requirements, but it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure you have the correct travel documents. We recommend checking requirements well in advance of your departure.
While we do not sell travel insurance directly, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance for all trips. We can recommend trusted insurance providers.
Package inclusions vary by destination and tier. Generally, our packages include return flights, accommodation, selected meals, and activities. Full details are provided for each package on our website and during the booking process.

Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation fees depend on timing: 60+ days before departure receives a full refund less admin fee, 30-59 days incurs a 50% charge, and less than 30 days has no refund. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Date changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change your travel dates.
If a trip is cancelled by the operator or supplier, we will work to offer you an alternative of equal or greater value, or provide a full refund.
